About us
Community initiative
Restoration Bicycle™ is a boutique workshop specializing in restoring, modifying, improving, and custom building bicycle and eBikes for recreation and urban use.
Our focus is on the following aspects:
-
We restore Classic, Vintage gems and bring them back to their old glory
-
We modify used bikes in terms of look and functionality and make them more suitable to specific desired application
-
We improve used bikes by adding eclectic assist motors, converting them to modern eBikes and helping users ride challenging terrains and longer trips which they might not be able to complete on pedal power alone
-
We build custom bike projects to suit our client’s needs, by either modifying their old bikes or by using one of our existing frames. As an alternative to buying a super-expensive commercial eBike, we help our clients easily build their own for a fraction of the price by using our exclusive electric bicycle conversion kits
We are part of the Core Change community initiative which helps unemployed people create meaningful jobs in the Cincinnati area.
We create employment opportunities for hard working, talented and creative people and we link them with our unique bicycle restoration initiative.
The bicycle was a truly exciting machine when it was first invented over a century ago. A bike has many advantages: it is the most energy-efficient form of transportation, it is healthy, non-polluting, economical and safe – but its most unique, outstanding and enjoyable quality is that a bike is totally personal. By moving your legs you create the experience in both rhythm and pace, and it’s a great way of getting around.
Mission
Our mission is to help people return to cycling and re-discover the fun and joy in cycling as a recreation activity as well as valid means of alternative transportation. We want to inspire people to ride bicycle for the benefit of one’s health, spirit and the green planet. We realize this by partnering with progressive communities and locals specialized bicycle shops who create spaces and programs that encourage people to ride.
